Sheri Gardzina, CPA
Controller and HIPAA Compliance Officer
Sheri Gardzina, CPA, Controller and HIPAA Compliance Officer, joined INSPIRIS in November of 2003. Currently her responsibilities include financial statement preparation and overseeing the general ledger accounting, payroll and accounts payable functions of the company. In addition, she coordinates the tax preparation, annual financial audit, and preparation of the annual cost report. Ms. Gardzina began her career as an auditor in the healthcare industry with Ernst & Young LLP. She was subsequently recruited by the Internal Audit department at HCA. After HCA, Ms. Gardzina became Regional Controller for Women’s Health Partners – Nashville, Inc., a physician practice management company managing OB/GYNs. During her five year tenure, she was responsible for the daily operations of the company. Duties included the financial responsibilities connected with the opening of the new women’s hospital, Baptist North Tower Surgical Hospital. Ms. Gardzina earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University. Ms. Gardzina is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
